Hydra Epic
Hydra Epic is an unsupported bikepacking challenge across the Baltic region (Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia).
Riders navigate long distances on gravel roads, singletracks, and mixed terrain, managing supplies and navigation themselves. It’s not a traditional race but a test of endurance, self-reliance, and adventure, offering an intense experience through forests, countryside, and small towns. Participants ride solo or in pairs, and the event emphasizes personal challenge and exploration over competition.
I completed a paddleboarding trip along the Žeimena and Neris rivers, covering about 130 km over 3 days. I got to experience life on a paddleboard —what an adventure!

Nemunas river journey
6 days, 440 km. I really enjoyed the new ride and paddling itself. I tested both narrow and wide rivers, practiced on lakes with waves, and this whole trip was a test of my physical strength, the kayak, paddle, and equipment before my next big river adventure.
Sun, wind, rain, heat, boats, mosquitoes, Russians, Lithuanians, borders – it was full of adventures.

Balkans trip
- 12 countries
- 4,414 km
- 39,355 m elevation gain
- 31 days
- Average per day: 143 km
- Elevation per day: 1,270 m
Highlights? Almost got kidnapped (Turkey), took a selfie with a bear 🐻, lost 10 kg, and I can’t believe how much I rode in such a short time.
This trip was all about testing my limits. You set a goal and chase it no matter what, enjoying the process whether it’s hard or easy.
In the Balkans, I had so much fun, met countless amazing people, had incredible conversations, and felt endless support. It was such a rewarding journey—so much to see, so many wonderful encounters.
